Aerials & Satellite TV
There are many different television aerials out there it’s not always about the bigger the aerial the better it is. It’s about what aerial is best to suite your needs as the client. We take into consideration your local area and what transmitter you’ll be getting your television channels from. There are a variety of aerials that can even be put in the loft rather than on a bracket on the side of your house or chimney breast.
Satellite services are not always just for sky television. They can also be used to give you freesat television. This is a free service and instead of using television aerial in poor reception areas we use a satellite dish. You may need a freesat receiver, these can also record TV, in some cases they are now built-in to the TV, and this can also be distributed to several different points in the home .
Integrated Reception Systems
An Integrated Reception System (IRS) collects the broadcast signals from digital terrestrial (Freeview) and satellite transmitters, as well as FM radio and Digital Audio Broadcasts (DAB). This means that one system supplies several TV services such as freeview, DAB & FM Radio, Sky+HD, SkyQ and foreign satellite services to all dwellings. They vary in size and performance dependent upon a client’s specification and if upgrading an existing system on the infrastructure available.
